Real singletrack/enduro style mountain bike experience- first time on an e-mountainbike- very cool! I was looking for an enduro-style singletrack mtb rental and/or guide near Biarritz... and though it wasn't easy to find, this turned out great. Alexis is a great guy to ride with. I've ridden XC/AM/DH full suspension mountain bikes but this was my first time on an e-mountain bike, and it was very cool. Definitely helps on the long rides up, but you can do all the work yourself as well- you can control how much of a workout you get (and how much assist you get from the electric motor). The bike is heavy but still fun to ride. And the downhill is a lot of fun too... with some intense singletrack dropping through the forest, then emerging to overlook the foothills of the Pyrenees and the coast from San Sebastien to Biarritz. For people who don't want an advanced mountain bike/enduro experience, they also offer relaxed "pleasure-cruises" with great views that are suitable for the whole family. Alex and his crew started their business this past year and seem to be doing great. They have mostly catered to French visitors so far but Alexis speaks English well so would be a good choice for visiting North Americans like myself. Will be back next time I'm in the Biarritz area!
