Twins from Saint Pée sur Nivelle in the Basque Country, we will not surprise you by telling you that we have been passionate about rugby and pelota since our early childhood!

When we are not in the mountains, you will find us with our group of friends surveying the cider houses located in Hegoalde (southern Basque Country). Without forgetting to mention Koblakariak, our group of traditional songs, with which we regularly go on tour.

At the end of our studies, driven by our entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to set up our project between brothers, we embarked on the Egiazki adventure.

Being very attached to our origins and our culture, working with a product from the Basque region seemed obvious and even a heritage. What better than a family recipe to get started?

In 2014, we therefore decided to create one of the first Patxarans produced in Iparralde (northern Basque Country).
We took over the homemade Patxaran recipe from our Aitatxi (grandfather in Basque) with our own personal touch and, a year later, we had the perfect Patxaran recipe.

In order to master the product from A to Z, we planted 825 blackthorn trees in Navarre and, in December 2015, Patxaran Egiazki was marketed for the first time. We have thus become the largest artisanal producer in Iparralde.

Very quickly, we decided to become specialists in Basque liqueurs by playing on tradition and modernity. Between researching recipes and local producers, we are gradually expanding our range by now producing Manzana, Patxaka, Jinkoa and Menta.

Eager to innovate and set ourselves new challenges, we have also developed a range of spirits with Gin Arana and Pastis Odeia
In 2020, we decide to partner with Alberto, our master brewer cousin from the south of Navarre. Together, we create IXO Beers, a Basque craft beer brand.

Starting from a somewhat crazy project between brothers, Egiazki quickly became a creative, human adventure, and above all, full of passion!
