Perched on the seafront on the heights of Biarritz, the restaurant seduces with its bright space and its terrace lacquered in red and sky blue, offering a view of the ocean & the Biarritz lighthouse. An idyllic setting to savor a cuisine of character that invites you to travel, elaborated with the bold and generous spirit characteristic of Frenchie. Gregory Marchand, after having left his mark in Paris , London and Verbier, instills in Biarritz his passion for the terroir and the richness of Basque products. From Banka trout to black pork Gascon, through line-caught fish from Saint-Jean de Luz and the flavors of pink veal from Axuria, each dish is an inventive and mixed fusion. The Sunday brunch, designed by the Frenchie Biarritz team, is a generous celebration of local gastronomy, offering a varied and gourmet experience in the sublime atrium, the restaurant or on the terrace in good weather, every Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Ate here off season. I was one of maybe three or four tables in this huge very corporate feeling space. Food was good but for a Frenchie Restaurant uninspired. Atmosphere was dead but I can’t imagine this space feeling warm and welcome even if it is busy. Service was cordial but not more. I’ve had the pleasure of eating at the original in Paris and this place doesn’t come close in terms of quality, charm and spirit. Feels like a sell out.

We dined at this restaurant on our first evening in Biarritz and were very pleased. It was beautiful, delicious, interesting, and welcoming. It was a feast for the eyes and taste buds, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed, perfect for dressing up. And what a beautiful atrium, if you enter through the hotel! Pure pleasure.

Best meal I have had for ages! Food was superb from start to finish. The strawberry dessert was fantastic Waiters were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!
