  Located just outside Orio, in Aia, this small cider house was delightful. To start, we had a small piece of chorizo ​​with bread. I really appreciate it when they bring out good, freshly baked homemade bread, as I can't stand the rubbery bread they give you in some places. We were given a choice between cod or mushroom omelet, and we ordered both. I personally loved the mushroom one—juicy and full of flavor. Next came cod (we chose pil-pil style). It was the first time I'd seen it served with eggs and roasted potatoes. The main course, a txuleta (Basque-style ribeye steak) with homemade potatoes, was very tasty, although I prefer it even rarer, almost rare! To finish, we had a cheese tasting with quince paste and walnuts, a typical Basque dish, and a homemade cheesecake that was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed; it was a Thursday and there weren't many people. The cider maker was very friendly; he was also the grill master and the waiter. The cider was good, sweet, and went down easily. Highly recommended. Good value for money.

  Absolutely awful, the only redeeming feature is the waiters, they're very friendly. The manager can't even understand a simple complaint.
