      In 1957, the Café de la Plage restaurant welcomed its first customers under the direction of Inachi Sansebastien.

      In 2024, a wind of renewal blows through this emblematic place with the arrival of Patxi, a chef passionate about traditional Basque cuisine, inspired by his amatxi.

      A native of Socoa with 20 years of experience in the family restaurant, Patxi invites you to discover authentic and delicious dishes, faithful to Basque tradition. His cuisine pays homage to the recipes passed down by his amatxi, offering a unique culinary experience full of character.


      Come and taste the delights of the Basque Country in a warm and friendly setting, where each dish tells a story of family and land.

    The rib steak is good, €65 though, the restaurant is very nice.

    Simply superb, perfect team. You'll appreciate the friendly, family-like atmosphere of the staff, which is so refreshing. I can't even begin to describe it, it's so good. The decor is lovely. We'll definitely be back.
