PASCAL EXPOSITO AND HIS TEAM, ARTISANS OF ART IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY
Proud of their identity and deeply attached to their land and traditions, they created the first Basque knife from scarified medlar wood, the same wood used for the famous Makila, the traditional walking stick of Basque shepherds. Crafted from this noble wood, which requires years of work, Mizpira bears the imprint of Basque culture and the legacy of ancestral craftsmanship. Over the years, driven by a desire to create and innovate, their shared passion has given rise to their registered trademarks : Mizpira, Bixia, and Artzaina. Through their original materials and forms, these handcrafted art knives, made in their workshops, are an invitation to share in the Basque terroir and its values.
