    • Taloa, the bread of the Basque Country

It's one of the many emblems of Basque gastronomy. This artisanal corn galette has delighted food lovers for generations. Made according to tradition, our taloas are prepared on-site and by hand every day. For this, we use organic Basque flours made from Arto Gorria (Grand Roux Basque) corn and heritage wheat varieties.

At Taloka, we are activists while we work. We source our products exclusively through short supply chains, with farm products coming from surrounding farmers and producers.
Our menu is inspired by modern and traditional cuisine, and evolves with the seasons and available produce; a true concentrate of the Basque Country!

Open every day from 8am to 3pm and Saturday continuously from 8am to 7pm.

Super accueil, on a très bien mangé. Les pommes de terre au fromage étaient délicieuses. En plus super bien placé au bord de la Nive

Relaxation and taloa for visitors to Bayonne in the market square. Quick and casual service.

A very kind waiter who took the time to explain the origin of his products, how the Taloa are prepared, and how they are part of Bayonne's culinary tradition. We ate delicious food and experienced a true immersion in this welcoming city. Thank you!
