In the heart of the Irouléguy vineyards, a building with an unusual stamp...

A palm tree on a cheese! The Elizarea family farm has been passed down from father to son for 5 centuries. At the controls, the Etchepare brothers. Alain and André started, a few years ago, by raising sheep before embarking on the production of veal axoa, mutton tagine, mutton cassoulet and especially raw sheep's milk cheese. A real passion!

Production is seasonal (December to June), then the transhumant herd during the summer in the Hautes Pyrénées.

Ready to welcome you, they will answer all your questions, proud to pass on part of their passion to you by showing you around their farm and tasting their cheese, a pure Ossau-Iraty sheep cheese (made from raw sheep's milk).

Present on the markets of Cambo-les-Bains, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry.
Palm tree fair in Hendaye every Tuesday.
Also on Monday at the traditional market in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and on Thursday at the producer market in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.

Opening hours: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. / 2:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

Coming from Bayonne, at the entrance to Baïgorry, turn left towards Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, towards the Irouleguy cellar, after the Opel garage, take the first left towards Quartier Otikoren and follow the signs.

Coming from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, after Pétricoréna (salaisonnier) take the first right and follow the signs.
