- Gabriel and Anaïs are reviving the family chocolate factory from 1903, in a 1313 watermill that they are restoring, in La Bastide-Clairence (a village classified among the most beautiful villages in France).
  
  The venue is structured around three spaces:
  - The chocolate factory with a traditional manufacturing process "from cocoa bean to chocolate bar".
  - the Museum in which the ancestral Chocolate Factory is recreated with the machines in motion.
  - the Mill with a space dedicated to its history and operation.
  This is the place to be for lovers of mechanics, history, heritage and of course chocolate. Discovery, sharing and indulgence are the order of the day in this unique setting.

We received a very warm welcome; the two people who ran it were fantastic and explained the family history to us very well. Congratulations on this wonderful project! The chocolate is delicious; I highly recommend the old-fashioned hot chocolate 😍 PS: We loved the house cat! I'll be back!

A very pleasant experience in this beautiful village. The museum is lovely, the machines are beautifully restored. Well done to Gabriel and Anaïs for all their hard work. The entrance ticket is valid for future visits. Definitely worth keeping! After the visit, we enjoyed a little tasting. What a delight! The milk chocolate is rich and not sweet, the original dark chocolate recipe is superb, so subtle, and the 75% chocolate is fabulously good. We took advantage of the tea room to try the old-fashioned hot chocolate (yum!), the coffee (even better with a spoonful of chocolate 😉), the gingerbread (a real treat), and the cookies fresh from the oven (amazing!). We couldn't resist buying a few bars. Some reviews complain about the prices. Between €7 and €9 for a bar of this quality, I personally find these prices perfectly reasonable. We're in a chocolate factory (the second in France since the Cocoa Festival). Let's not forget that. In any case, I applaud the courage of these new master chocolatiers! Congratulations on the career change! A suggestion: do you offer parcel delivery for visitors who are traveling far away? Where else can we find your products besides at your shop? (In Voiron at Mr. Bonnat's?)

A superb chocolate factory with a fascinating history, in a protected environment, and above all, remarkable chocolate: melt-in-your-mouth, intensely flavored, a far cry from the usual sugar bombs. Remarkable.
