Ura Spirits aims to combine the old with the modern, tradition with technology, by producing premium spirits.

To create our spirits, we draw inspiration from the local flora, but also from everything that has happened in the ports of the Basque Country over the years and that has become part of the local landscape.

For distillation, we use a rotovap, a still that allows for vacuum distillation. This is a modern and uncommon distillation technique in spirits (borrowed from the world of perfumery), which allows distillation at a very low temperature to avoid cooking the botanicals and thus preserve all their aromas.

The Ura Spirits distillery received the Best French Contemporary award at the World Gin Awards 2021.
