At La Cantine, a restaurant for young and old in Bayonne
In the heart of little Bayonne, a few steps from the Adour and 20 minutes from Biarritz, Lyess Yaici treats you every lunchtime. Open from 9am to 5pm and closed on Sundays, take a coffee break and stay to eat in a restaurant that takes you back to your childhood.
Blackboards, notebooks, maps of France, school bags, marbles and report cards, take a pleasant dip and return to school for a meal in an original setting. Passionate about cooking since childhood, it is with pleasure that the chef concocts traditional dishes offered in the bonnet d'âne or the fayot menu.
Every lunchtime, succumb to the à la carte suggestion, with calf's liver in parsley or leg of lamb like grandma's. Burgers and kids' menu, the children will be delighted to go to the Canteen. No need to write down, you're going to enjoy yourself.All of the following menus are Monday through Friday:
- Daily special: 10 euros
- Donkey's Cap Menu: starter + daily special or daily special + dessert: 13.50 euros
- Bean menu: Starter + dish of the day + dessert: 15.50 euros
- Children's menu: 8 euros
- Director's menu only: 17.50 euros
