  The service was excellent! However, there was a major problem with the quality of the food! The fish, which was supposed to be frozen, arrived as dry as bread. I'm sure that's why I had diarrhea all night. We ordered four large set menus, and the four tiny hake fillets were arranged on a large platter, far too big for what was in it. And the quality wasn't there. Mine was dry and stringy, as if it had been frozen for months! The omelet was tiny. The meat was undercooked, very charred on the outside and completely raw inside. Normally, there should be a good balance, which wasn't the case here. And as for the walnuts, more than half were rotten inside, some with mold. I've never seen anything like it! In short, don't go there. I recommend driving a few kilometers to Spain; Petritegui, for example, is well worth the trip! Being from Bayonne, I won't be coming back here. You'd think the owner was a real greedy bastard with all the money he must be raking in. See ya! 👋 EDIT: Reading the other comments, I just learned that the meat comes from Germany. That's the icing on the cake!
