Le Confit d'Ascain Gastronomic products and artisanal specialties in Ascain

The entire team at Confit d'Ascain, founded in 1986, invites you to discover and taste its local gastronomic products.

Cédric and Sylvie Laban are farmers, breeders of fattened ducks, chickens, and capons, and artisan preservers for three generations. They work passionately as a family to offer customers unique and authentic recipes for gourmet products from the Basque Country.

In this artisanal cannery, you will be offered regional culinary specialties, foie gras, pâtés, ready meals... as well as condiments and drinks in partnership with local artisans, whether in our store in Ascain or online, on our website.

Our foie gras and our Ascain pâté have won several medals in 2022, 2023 and 2024 at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.

Our products are prepared in an artisanal way, from locally sourced meats, without preservatives or colorings, so that you can rediscover all the flavors of yesteryear of "homemade" !

Carole will welcome you to the store to guide you in your choices and answer all your questions.

Come visit our shop and cannery for free to learn about our expertise by appointment only, 3 to 4 days in advance! This visit will be followed by a tasting, specially prepared for you.
Tasting tours are available to individuals, groups, and businesses. We can arrange appointments by phone, email, or on-site.
